You're located around Teton Village, so I was wondering if you could tell me a bit about the area. I am looking at purchasing some land to park my travel trailer around Star Valley Ranch, about 1 hr south via Alpine.

• Is US Hwy 89 well-maintained? I have a 4x4 V6 but I don't think it can handle too much snow on the road.
• Is there much crime in the area? The crime numbers on Star Valley Ranch are not available on BestPlaces and City Data.
• When snow is not on the ground, what do you usually do?
• Finally, can I park my travel trailer on your land when I am in the area?

Yes, I do believe that there is free travel trailer parking in Teton Village.
Contact Roland Fleck, he often let's people park their trailers there in return for chopping wood and some light snow shoveling. Good guy.

Crime is rampant in Star Valley, especially with all of the meth production. I wouldn't leave your truck unattended. Word to the wise.

By the way, I was able to find some data on Star Valley Ranch; it is actually safer than Teton Village if the numbers are accurate. The only crime where it exceeded the national average was assaults.
