So, I injured my knee 12 days ago. There was no popping sound and the pain/stiffness did not set in until the next morning (the injury occured at soccer practice). The pain occurrs only with movement (ie. flexing or bending or straightening my knee) beyond a very limited range until it is well warmed up. I skipped practice for the next week and it seemed to have healed (it felt fine for our game yesterday), but mid-way through the game I started to feel the pain again and today it is difficult to walk - there goes Baker for today. Anyways, I am seeing my doctor on Thursday, but was hoping for a diagnosis from anyone here who may have had a similar injury (or is a doctor). The pain occurs along the back of my knee, and along the outer side of the front (I believe where the LCL is). I am assuming I've damaged the LCL is some way, but am not sure why I have the pain at the back of my knee as well. Any thoughts on it? Thanks.
