who's going to Loveland this weekend ?
no can do saturday. going on sunday.
It's looking like sunday for me (gives me another day of ass healing). I'll probably be pretty mild on the boxes this week.
Tomorrow afternoon and all day Sunday for me. Meet at bottom of chair at __:__ AM Sunday??
Any copper people out there, I know I know, it will be crowded, but I am flat broke after ordering another pair of skis last night, ANYONE? Be there sat for a stint and then sunday afternoon.

WELL OF COURSE, thats why I am me and you aren't
I'll definitely be up on Sunday, but patrolling, i.e., standing watch on the side of Mambo. The next couple of weeks, until chair two opens will probably be the same. I hope you guys will keep an eye out for me and stop and say hi.
I don't know about Saturday yet. I'm thinking of going down to the expo.
edit - I got a helmet. Boeri, powder blue. No stickers on it (yet).

Yep, I'll be at Copper on Saturday riding the blue veiner for at least a couple of hours. When are you going to be up there?Originally posted by powderfarmer

hey shera is matt going to loveland sat ?
I've got a couple of girlfriends, both Summit County ski bums, that want me to ski with them at Copper this season. But I already got the Vail pass and I ski so much at Loveland. Wondering if I should shell out the additional bucks. Money that could be spent in the San Juans or at Steamboat or Aspen or wherever. What to do?
And what's the last day for getting a Copper pass?

I dunno yet. My car is in the shop so he's my chauffer for the time being. I kind of hope he'll want to go down to Denver to the expo, but he hates the concrete even worse than I do.Originally posted by board

Do you have our number? I'm sure he'd like to hear from you. We've been vigorously debating how much snow we'll need to ski on Loveland Pass.![]()

Copper and or winterpark passes are availiable till the 9th. Personally, I'd get one, but thats because MJ is my favorite mountain within 4 hours, I know you saw a little of it last year but man is there a ton to do there, easily double what it shows on the trail map, including alot of psuedo backcountry. plus if you have friends at copper, and well, I will always be game for some copper days.Originally posted by SheRa

By the way, I think I am signing a lease about 15 miles north of silverthorne, not all the way to heeney but close, way cheap. So I should be up there full time starting the first of jan. Hope to ski with you some more.
As for timing at copper, who knows, at some point between 9 and 2 I would say, hahaha, but seriously I don't know, I just know I need to be in heeney by 3 to sign leases and such.

SheRa,
If you have an old college ID and a friend that has one you can get a MJ/WP/Copper pass for $159.
I got mine by using my staff ID and my friend had an old UNC card. No questions asked.
Well, I'm glad that's resolved. Now why didn't we just ask you in the first place?Originally posted by iskibc

And thanks for the info on Copper.
iskibc, it's been a long while since I've been in school. Next year though.

Shera email is sent. is the hexagonal addy still correct ???
trust me I'm as impatient as hell right now to get back on Loveland pass but anything less than 2 plus feet sounds like a season ending injury waiting to happen![]()
Oooooh, but it's all white up there. Must be patient.Originally posted by board

SheRa, if you go to the expo, you might be able to get a 4-pass copper card, $89 for 4 days at Copper, few black out dates. Or, for $10, get a Winter Park Copper card which at least will let you buy discounted passes for both WP and Copper.Originally posted by SheRa

We did go to the expo, late yesterday. Got the Aspen Classic, Steamboat discount app, and Gems app. No Copper pass. But don't they sell that repeatedly through the season? Screwed up and did not get the $10 WP/MJ card. I can get hooked up pretty well through patrol there for occasional days. But I guess Breck will have to be my regular bitch.Originally posted by The Dude

Now that I look at what the costs will be over the course of the season, I think the gold medallion would have been the best choice.
I am actually considering doing the PSIA thing part time at Loveland next year. They seem to get the best hookups around the state. And I'm getting a kick out of imagining a group of five year olds following me down the hill like a bunch of little ducklings.![]()
