It was dumping downtown last night!!! (NSR)
There wasn't much that could ruin my mood after a good day of skiing yesterday at Vail with the mags. Had a few cocktails and went into downtown Denver to attend "the Nutcracker" oh yeah. It's on!! Lot of guys with great cod pieces were chillin, hopping around, prancing and all that fancy stuff.
My wife felt it necessary to fill me in on who had great buns (like i couldn't tell). I was in suspense when the one dancer chick's dress came undone in the back during a big dance number. I was hoping (cheering on the inside) that it would come flying off, or at least off one shoulder enough to see a nip. Didn't happen though. Then just when I started falling into a slumber, as most guys do in this enviornment, it started snowing. Nice effect, yeah whatever. Then it started DUMPING. I mean I could hardly see the back of the stage, it had to have been coming down at the rate of 2" an hour. Now its got to get interesting for the dancers, I was hoping for a wipe out, that didn't happen either, to my disappointment.
Well the show wasn't too bad, only 2 hours lost, and for some reason I was getting a sore throat, feeling sicker and sicker as the play went on. By the end of the show my throat felt like sandpaper and no it wasn't from gaping with my mouth wide open at the guy's cod pieces (I mean could their pants get ANY tighter?)
Back to the car to get home and get to bed. We are sitting in a line of cars trying to get out the parking lot, chatting away with the wife, paying no attention to our surroundings, the BAMMM!! Some one hit me and I wasn't even moving.
"What was that" ( I look in the mirror, the only car is 15 feet behind me, and no one on either side). My wife opens her door, I ask her "who hit us?"
"A person" was her reply. "wait, what? A person?" I jump out and come around the car to see some wasted bum laying behind the car next to his shopping cart. WTF???
I picked the guy up, he only weighed 90 lbs, maybe that. Wife picks his buggy up, we help him get himself back together. The guy was so wasted he couldn't stand on his own, I had to put him back behind the cart, just so he could stand up and get going. Yeah he had the blanket and a paper bag with a plastic bottle in it too, fufilling all stereotypes of bums. We made sure he was heading in a direction away from the car and jumped back in. I won't lie, we were laughing out asses off. A person losing control of a shopping cart and raming it into my car and falling down was the last thing we expected when we heard that noise. Unfortunately he put a decent size dent in my rear quarter panel, but what am I gonna do? Sue him for his plastic bottle of booze?
All in all, it made for an interesting night. Now i am off for another cough drop and some echinachiea in hopes of shaking this cough before it gets worse.
More fucked up than a cricket in a hubcap
