    Going to see Blade3 tonight

I don't know why, but I'm a fan of the Blade series of movies. I've never read the comic book but bullshit-violent-vampire-kungfu-ballsy-weapon and bad-ass-car movies just can't NOT be watched.

The first one was pretty cool, like when Blade is in that vampire rave in the circular room and he chucks that dealie, and the dealie flies around the room in a circle and like, chops all the vampires and turns them into dust. That's cool. The second one got to be pretty stupid but vampires that feed off other vampires is a cool idea. Movies based on comic books are sometimes annoying to watch like The Hulk or Daredevil...but then you've got both Spiderman movies and Blade so take the good with the bad.

I'll report back later using the Vinzclortho "57 star" rating system later.

Thanks for the reminder, keymaster. I may go check this out tonight too. Maybe it's because I'm starved for action in this actionfilmless world we now live in, but I really liked the first two movies. They were shot really well, the cg was done nicely, and the storylines were pretty good for an action flick. And Snipes has this character nailed. He's a badass without being cheesy.

And how could I forget. Jessica Biel is in it too.

I can already give the movie 18 stars just for her alone.

We went and watched it yesterday. If you ignore the majority of the dialogue (which was exceptionally bad, even for this type of movie), it was pretty good. Really about the same as the other ones - lots of cool fight scenes and new gadgets to kill vampires. And hell, I even thought Jessica Biel looked hot. Plus she had cool bows and the UV beam thing... Very badass.

Well she is wearing clothes... but they're generally of the tight leather variety. And she's looking ripped.

Actually what's his name (the other vampire slayer guy other than Blade) is looking pretty damn good too. There was evidently a lot more going to the gym than going to acting classes in preparation for filming. I'll refrain from posting those for you though...

Is that the guy from the TV show Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place? If so I can't see him as an action star. He is too damn skinny. Maybe He worked out with Barry Bonds for this role.

I couldn't remember what I had seen him in before. But apparently he has been doing the Barry Bonds workout because I didn't remember him looking like this:
