    would it make any difference if my father was born there? I would like to live in BC someday, specially if Bush tries to force me to fight in some god forsaken desert just so him and his buddies can make billions.

    Yeah, I have somewhat similar feelings/aspirations. Why does it have to be such a pain in the ass? Over here in NZ you can go live and work in Australia without having to do much of anything. I can only wish it was so easy.

    BC is great for this, the gulf islands and smome parts of the interior still have hippy draft dodgers that aren't totally sure the Vietnam war has ended.

    That's true, I still run into some of those assholes when I surf off Vancouver Island in the winter....for some reason they think they own the water.....
