Can anyone give me an update as to how it is over there? Thanks

From http://www.gulmargsnowsafety.com/:http://www.snow-forecast.com/resorts/Gulmarg/6day/midNearly two weeks of dry, high pressure will be interrupted by a small system entering the Gulmarg region this weekend. Forecast details suggest good news: Small amounts of new snow combined with near calm winds. The current weak, shallow snowpack will be very sensitive to any significant slab additions. So be very attentive to any increasing winds. We are optimistic that this weekend should see a "topup" without a big change in the avalanche advisory danger level.

Thanks. The blog is great.
Trigger pulled, flying to DEL 23 February.
From Gulmarg Snow Safety, 15 February 2011:
The weekend storm has finished. Over 1 meter of added snow load in the alpine region. Some important things to keep in mind when entering the alpine region.
- The Forecast suggests stable weather over the next 4 days. That's 4 days to progressively test steeper terrain.
- Strong Southerly winds have increased the load on North and East aspects up to 2 meters or more.
- Steep South facing slopes will tend to destabilize under warm sunny conditions.![]()
