    No touchy, no touchy!

    Soo.
    Had the surgery.
All I have to say is that Anesthesia ROCKS! I was out before the IV went in.
I don't know how people did this shit however many years ago, before knockout stuff was around, kudos to you.
I had no meniscus damage at all, thank goodness.
The acl wasn't even completely torn, but Doc also found a previous tear on the acl that was half way through healing, soo it was pretty shredded. I don't remember that first incident. HMMM.
I now am officialy carrying a part of a dead person in me, eww.
For the past two days I have:
    -stared intently at the wall
-learned how to knit (yes, Liz you are getting a scarf for xmas (jk)).
-realized how sick oxycoton makes me
    -really missed skiing.

I think my recovery will go well. I am excited to see people during the mini.
    Later.
    Wrecker of dreams.

Best of luck with the healing process!

We maggots expect to hear some sick TRs of your extreme wall staring, hucking kleenexes into the waste basket 'cause it'll be too much effort to stand, sketchy bouts with anti-inflamitory drugs, sick boredom, wicked envy when Altachic and DTM come home boasting about thier day, and crazy tales of nasty bedsores. Please do not gloss over any details.

    "No touchy."

That's what they told me after hernia surgery. I should have listened to them.

Did you get any fentanyl (sp?) before surgery?

May also be known as the "lie flat on your back watching the ceiling tiles and really enjoy it" drug.

Glad you are doing well, remember medicate early and often, and especially about 30 minutes before you gotta go pee.

See you at the GMD, you'll be feeling much better by then.

Oxycontin = Waaaay Bad News. Get off that stuff ASAP. Tylenol 3 or Percocets would be less dangerous.

Heal straight & True, my lady. I look forward to meeting you in Feb.

I've never had oxycontin - just Lortab for me...

Anyway - glad to hear everything went alright!
