    Jong wireless network question

    Calling all nerds.

I have a wireless network set up and it works fine. Only issue is on occasion my browser prompts for another network connection to be connected. At first I thought it was just a broadband connection I set for my Father's house but when I deleted that (which I really didn't want to) it started prompting to the dial connection I sometimes use on the road. The wireless connection gives me no option to set it as default

I use Mozilla Firefox and it's not too bad but occasionally something will run better on explorer and when I try to use that I can't get past the prompt. Explorer is able to find my home page and a virus scan I run from there but as soon as I try something else it just goes to the connection prompt. My only choice then is connect or work offlline.

Am I stupid, is my computer stupid, is the browser stupid are we all fuckin' retards? Please help oh wise nerds.

It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy

There are some options under tools > internet options > connections. It seems like you might want to choose "dial whenver a network connection is not present."

At least this is what I see in the version of IE I have loaded on this box. It's IE 6.0

Thanks for that. I already found that and it seems to have fixed explorer. I don't seem to have that option with the mozilla. Oh well mozilla was less of a problem, just an occassional annoyance.
