Sucks, doesn't it? At least you guys got this morning, all we got was a straight transition from cold smoke to wet cement with nothing in between but wind.

I'm a Ta-hoe this year, not a Utard -- just checking the Mini weather.

At least Tuesday was nice. Hope there aren't too many wet slides...frozen avvy debris sucks.

Wow, back-to-back lows of 8000 F, that'll be rough on the snowpack I'd imagine!

Thats what we had at Basin. Today the top of the mountain had the creamiest smooth windbuff ever, the bottom of the mountain was the mankiest cement I've ever seen.

What type of wax would you use for 8000F?

Choosing the wrong type of wax could possible cause some trouble.
Charlie, here comes the deuce. And when you speak of me, speak well.

    Talking

Prolly yellow. Hydrocarbon only. The smoke created by flouro wax at that temp would be deadly.

Low of 8000 through Sunday night...must be a serious high pressure zone over the valley
