Any opinions on conditions at Jay? Anyone live that far north?

Trying to convince my brother to drive up friday night. He's not so game and keeps on pointing out that "wintry mix" (when reported by Jay itself) really means "rain". I am more optimistic, but I need some evidence to convince him.

Skinning up saddlebags on saturday morning, some maine maggots should come with. What NOAA sez: THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR MORE THAN 6 INCHES OF SNOW FRIDAY NIGHT AND
    SATURDAY.

She's got potential, ya gotta give her credit for trying.

Up at the loaf this morning, its in decent shape. Soft groomers, stuff is filling in nicely, I was able to duck into some trees for a few turns. We need a few storms that are all snow, and we'll be good to go.

I'll be around Stowe on Saturday.
From my better side I look like this

I'll be on Inspired's. Or LPs. Or some demos. So that doesn't help much. Planning on being there at opening, but Friday night plans include a sorority "holiday" party....so we'll see.

buddies said it was decent last weekend. pretty much everything on state side is open. glades are closed but they skied them all day.
tram side only has the carpet and metro running.

wintery mix reported by jay does mean ice and rain. but it looks like thats whats going to happen accross the state.

Jay may luck out and stay cold enough. If you go anywhere south of Stowe I'd say better bring the rain gear.
