    Bachelor tommorow?

Anyone goin? I just finished finals today and thought I'd reward myself with a trip. 24" in 24 today...should be butta. I'll be in a white outback in west village by myself, so a little company would hurt. Hope to see you up there!

BTW, any beta on when the rest of the lifts are going to open? So far its just lower east lifts (no summit/NW)
You look like I need a drink.

Def a no go today...rain @ the base and sunshine express closed due to avalanche (comming off the summit I suppose.) Will be there for sure this weekend though as the snow level is dropping back down. Hurray for Oregon skiing! ...finally...

A large slab broke off the Moraine on the NE aspect. The crown fracture was in excess of 5 feet leaving not much more than an inch cover on the cinder surface. The slide just missed the lower terminal of the Summit chair, swept over the small ridgeline and into, yes, Avalanche run and down Marshmallow. The full path of the slide traveled over a quarter mile, filled in gullies, took out numerous large fir and left a debris field with piles 12 to 15 feet deep mixed with broken fir. The path went into the major green run area. If this event had occured when the area was open it would have been really bad. As it was it happened late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.
The snow doesn't give a soft white damn whom it touches.
