I'm sure some of you have heard stories of GT taking waaaay worse hits than this in his dirtbike/4-wheeler days.

my nuts just jumped into my ribcage. thanks for reminding us of that story.

Just talked to GT. Surgery went well. He was still a little drugged, but very coherent. Said that skiing a week or two from now really was a possibility. The docs confirmed that. The cast comes off in 5 weeks and the pins come out in 6. There will be a brace after that, but overall I think he's still going to have a great winter full of skiing.

Awesome! Glad to hear it won't be holding you back for long!

If being buenas gentes helps you heal faster, you'll have that cast off in about four days Hope to make some turns with you this year.

i don't know.... the cast would work pretty well.

i've been looking out the window all day wondering how it's going at the camp. it should be really good.

still taking a few pain killers. they'll redo the cast next week after the swelling is down. i'm trying to learn to do everything with my left hand now.
