I don't think Karma & I get along very well. Maybe I have the anti-karma gene or something.

I know there are a lot of maggions with ACL overhauls that would be happy to trade me surgeries in a New York minute. So I can't feel too bad about it.

It does hurt a lot right now, because it is still dislocated and twisted funny. I hope it will better after tomorrow.

Thanks for all your best wishes. I planning to be skiing in 1 week. If the Dr doesn't shut me down.

See you Guys & Gals on the hill.
I want a 6" travel 20lb MTB. I found the 20lb MTB, but only good for riders under 87 pounds.

Really sorry to hear that, GT, but I'm sure you'll bounce back from this like it's nothing. I mean, md9 must get his elasticity from somewhere, right?

Take care dude and get better, broken wrists suck.
    Heal up GT!

When I read the thread title I was just expecting the usual killer stoke from GT40. It never even occured to me that it was at all a possibility that GT40 and Emergency Room would go together.

Anyhow, get back on the skis soon, the pics can wait.

Does this mean we can expect more frequent GT posts for the next week or so?

Happy to see you're keeping a positive attitude! Heal strong, heal quick.

Wow - even when he's down, he has a positive attitude. GT40 really is THE MAN.

God's speed to you, dude! Best wishes.

Doc, I'm really bummed to hear about this! Good luck with your surgery! Heal straight and fast.

I'm one who has heard some pretty gnarly moto stories, and fully understand that while GT is laid back and mild-mannered, he is also one extremely tough dood. I mean, imagine having MD9 as a teenager. A broken wrist to him is like a sneeze to the rest of us.

    Back atcha.
    It's idomatic, beatch.

    Talking

I could always teach you to snowboard.

With one wrist casted up already, you won't break that wrist at least while learning. We could put a sock on it and draw a smiley face and call you Mr. Hand.

Plus you dont have to carry those darn ski poles.

    Good luck today Doc!!!

All the best GT. I'm on the healing wagon with you. Although misery loves company, never good to see another maggot in the ER.

Don't know what to say. That sucks GT.

Here's hoping for a quick and full recovery.

Just talked to GT. Surgery went well. He was still a little drugged, but very coherent. Said that skiing a week or two from now really was a possibility. The docs confirmed that. The cast comes off in 5 weeks and the pins come out in 6. There will be a brace after that, but overall I think he's still going to have a great winter full of skiing.
