    'gurging in Jackson Hole

We're well beyond pucking now. It stopped last night and then started up again about 10:00 am today. I'd say another foot has already fallen at my house today, on top of more than a foot yesterday.

We'll see how many lifts they open this weekend. I'm hoping for tram, but not counting on it.

Suit--- You think that this storm will give JH a reason to open the tram? I remember not last year but a few years before that, the tram wasn't opened until around the 12/18. I'm gonna be up there 12/18-12/25.

I'm hoping for sooner, but I think it's very likely they'll open it by the 18th, since that the start of the week before Christmas. Coverage was already decent before this storm at Teton Pass, which is 8400 feet. I wouldn't count on Hobacks or lower faces unless we get another storm.

Stoke levels rising. Totally jealous. We just had a "mixed bag" storm here in southern Maine / NH seacoast area. We don't need snow down here, but it's more pretty than sleet. Winter's in the air though. It's a good feeling.

Do you know if St. Johns opened in the afternoon? They had it all set up, but I had to bail at noon and it wasn't open yet.

St. Johns definitely opened; it was reported to be quite sick. There are also wild rumors from unknown sources that Saratoga bowl was chest deep - so deep you couldn't turn, and that somebody spent a couple hours putting the traverse in to get back to AV.

I don't understand - you mean your entire resort isn't open with an 80 inch base?

If you're too busy skiing, KMO (my wfie) and I would be happy to house sit for you in Lincoln. You wouldn't be looking to sell it, would you?
