    Cabin Fever in Bear Lake

I've got it. I've snowblowed the driveway twice, dorked around on the computer all after noon, and now I'm going to sled neck over to Swan Flat in a whiteout.

When the weather clears it is going to be unreal.

now i bet you are thinking...'if only i had that tub hooked up.'

Gonna wait and hear from toby on what they skied today. Weary of avy's.

Snow was dense and deep. I didn't dig any pits to see what was happening but there probably is a little upside down going on...minimally though. I'm worried about all the new weight on two older, weaker sublayers, and being put right on top of the weak surface hoar that formed this past week.

Be careful out there guys and stay safe!!

Sounds like it is really dumping. Down here it is intermittent and windy, at least out on 10th West.

Being careful is all relative. Almost got nailed on my walk to school by a damn plow. I'd rather be pushing my limits in the great outdoors against nature than an ass behind a wheel.

Not what I meant at all. I know you know your stuff well and you take the (what I have seen and read) appropriate precautions, same with Track and 2P.

It was a simple, literal, be safe, have fun message.

Holy windslabs. It's that thick, slabby, cohesive wet shit at the top of the pass. Feeling like a sled neck.

I've been taking the sled out nightly to the top of the pass and seeing 3-6 moose every time. It's still nuking up there at 4:30pm.

Dude..go skiing already and stop wasting time indoors. I'm trying to finalaize some school shit. Pain in the ass. I might just lap the Beav in the morning so I can pack and take off for the weekend. Probably get up there at 7.30.

I'm going out tomorrow with Toby. He said "I need pictures of some avalanches for my 'hi danger' rating".

    Should be interesting.
