All better now, thanks. It's tough to update an entire Web site with a five-month-old boy on your lap pounding on the keyboard.

Is it me, or are the details of contest/theme 06 missing?

Hey Kellie - this is taken from the Themes page. Is it not showing up for you?
    http://www.aspectjournal.com/themes.html

    Topic: Night

The spin: Whether you're beneath halogen lights or the full moon, in an alpine setting or on Broadway and Main, skiing is different when the sun isn't shining. Why?

How it works: Your story may be true or fiction, it doesn't matter. (If it's true it also must be factual.) What matters is that it's unique and well crafted, not dull or obvious. Entries that begin with "I like skiing at night because..." will promptly be fed to the parrot.

Entries must be fewer than 600 words. Pieces selected for publication will be eclectic, moving, artistically rendered, and/or funny, and noticeably absent of the almighty cliché.

Aspect Journal's editors will choose the top five essays for publication in early February.

    Entry deadline: January 15.

To submit: E-mail your story as plain text (no attachments please) to our submissions inbox with "Theme: Night" in the subject line. Please do not send photographs.

Grand prize: POWDER - The Skier's Magazine has kindly donated a free one-year subscription to the Night contest winner.

    Good luck!

Unless there are pictures of Jessica Simpson or other people on this board I'm not interested.

Just kidding. You had me at "new."
