I'm tossing in a vote for Mr. Altagirl and a vote for Meats. Meats is hungry and Mr. Altagirl needs the skillz to keep up with Altagirl.

    Wink

I'm de-nominating WC after he decided it was necessary to tell the world I was having indigestion.

WC should not get the free spot on the Str8line camp because:
    1. He's a douchebag
    2. He hasn't had successful contact with a woman since March.

    I VOTE FOR HARDRIDER!!!

I would like to add a very enthusiastic vote for hardrider as well.

This guy is right on the cusp of being a very very good skier, a little instruction, some tips and he could be killing it in no time.

He hasn't got 2 nickels to rub together.

He is living the life of a dirtbag skier, he has an antique trailer that he can't heat, he sleeps on couches, drives a car that cost him $180, and he still has about the best outlook towards life and skiing of anyone I know. I can't think of a nicer more upbeat person to be around; both on and off the slopes.

I spoke to him about the camp today and he would be honored to be chosen and he would love to go. He will find a way to get there without a doubt. If he is chosen as one of the lucky ones who gets to go, I will personally make sure he gets there. If I need to buy him a plane ticket or get him lift tickets I will.

If hardrider gets the nod, he'll also get the SW tickets, but the decision will need to be made soon.

I have a Southwest Reward ticket that expires 12/31. I don't see myself using it before then. I'll gladly give it to pizza boy.

Edit: I talk on the phone for a few minutes and he already has free flights I can donate the tickets to someone else too.

Here's a post by Meats from the other thread.......

Thanks every one who voted for me. But I can’t make it. This is a kicks ass thread, props to all who have made this happen. Once again thanks to you all.

    Meats

So who's going to the Camp? I vote Hardrider & Mr AG.
I want a 6" travel 20lb MTB. I found the 20lb MTB, but only good for riders under 87 pounds.

Load the bitch in a slingshot and send him. I'll swing my vote to hardrider based on the donation situation compiled on his behalf. Everything will come together for him if you throw him the nod, Gordy.

The only two people I know on the list are Tresckow and Kristen, but I know for certain that they are both worthy. Great skiers and great people who live the life, make the sacrifices and are fun to ski with. How about a belated wedding present? (Kristen still has to be one of the rippenest Maggets around)

dude has hooked up more maggots with discounts on gear and tickets than you can shake his mormon family makin little stick at.

p.s. Brigham, and more importantly Cynthia I'm sure, won't mind if you skip the Temple for one Sunday to ski at the Holiest place of all with one of the most soulful skiers out there.

Bum Z is the ski-show-putting-on-est bitch out there. Plus he was the first person I ever met in Utah.

But he'd shred all your asses so I can understand why you wouldn't want him in your little camp.

I'll cast a vote for hardrider on ONE CONDITION: It has come to my attention that he has never seen Hot Dog: the Movie . Someone must show him this cinematic classic before the camp. If he attends the camp without first learning about Harkin, Rudi, and Sylvia, I will sponsor the Angry Whelk to head to South Lake and go bukakke on his dirtbag trailer.
