Nice. Thanks for the heads up. I had some 15 years ago and like them. Too short for me. I'll see if anyone else in the family wants that.

Those Outtas absolutely suck compared to the Madshus skis.

I had the widest Fischer s-bounds and loved them until they delammed. Have the widest alpinia they suck. Have the madshus panorama 78 which are nice. Just got my wife the Rossi bc 120’s, because she makes me use the alpinia when I’m skiing with her. They were 40% at backcountry

    Telemark skiing is dead.

I was fortunate to attend the fischer camp at royal gorge where the boundless skis were debuted. We got a heli ride to the top of mt Lola. At that time, I was most impressed with the narrowest option, the “rebounds,,” on a system binding. I also found that season that the outtabounds could be overwhelmed with too much boot (3 buckle garmont gara).

I’ve never had the opportunity to ski any of the widest patterned skis.

Interesting, because in their day, I liked my Outtas. I eventually got rid of them because they were too short, and I had moved on to an Atomic Chugach that is more about turns. I traded the Outtas toward Atomic R:EX which I use for fixed heel skiing.

Ya, definitely possible to overwhelm the Outta.

Outtas have a very high camber and are pretty stiff for what they are. They were fine for 2007 or so but Madshus has a better product.

The current iteration is the Madshus Panorama in both 68 and 78 under foot widths.

I’m rocking some Voile UltraVector BC with a T4 and Targa for meadow skipping and forest beatering. Perfect rig for doing snow surveys.

Probably need a waxless classic track setup before I need a skinny ski with edges.

I have both Fischer and Madshus waxless skis, and I like all of them. I even have a 20+ year-old pair of Outtabounds that I still use for backyard tours when rock-hits are more likely.

I just compared the camber of my Fischer and Madshus skis, and they're fairly similar. Fischer does have a reputation for having more camber and being stiffer, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, depending on your intended use. Also, the Fischers have a longer waxless pattern than the Madshus, which gives them a bit more uphill grip, and perhaps a bit less glide.

I would recommend both the Fischer and the Madshus waxless skis.

My favorite xcd fattie is the Chugach. Manages to combine good descent behavior with decent kick and glide on the flats.

I’m in the middle of cleaning out some storage space and just found two sets of Targas and a pair of T4’s. Boots are going to Goodwill, that last was always too narrow for me.

Biggest score of the clean out is the little TTS blocks I bought and never mounted. Before opening day next Friday I will have a TTS system built up. Limon F1’s with the bellows on my volcano climbing skis.

I gotta a pair of those fischer outta bounds in 195 cm never skied too. Probably throw those up on gear swap.

I’m away for work tonight, but I’ll look for you when I get home. I wear a 27.5, but these are the old UK sized ones probably an 8 if I had to guess. I’ll shoot you a PM when I get back, probably over the weekend.

I have a deck mounted up old school, not slalom style that you are more than willing to have. Let me dig it out and take some pics. You pay for shipping. It's fat, and old, like you, but I can still kick flip on it and ollie over a turned over garbage can. Cheep cheep. Free.

As long as you promise to get off your horse cock on Danno like you managed to do with Crystal K. Dealio?
