For some reason my brain is making this weird connection about that photo, like maybe you posted it after a weekend where I was in the same place. I attempted La Plata once (got really weird altitude sick and turned back long before summiting), last weekend in May maybe, around 2008 (maybe 2009 or 2007). Was it from then? But now that you mention it IIRC there was one of those Indy Pass Ttips get-togethers going on at the same time on the other side of the pass, but I didn’t get over there.
