Need Cleared (Secret or TS) NetApp/VMware/Exchange SysAdmin - San Diego

I need to replace a Tier III guy that was working at Camp Pendleton. It's a USMC contract that only requires a Secret right now, but is intended to become TS in the near future.

NetApp experience is preferred, but a candidate with VMware and Exchange (2003/2007) experience would be good too.

    Position is available immediately.

Damn if only i wanted to move to San Diego. I held a Secret clearance a few years back and dont see why it wouldnt be easy to just get it reinstated I have had no legal issues between now and then...

Oh well...bump...sounds like a great gig for someone.

How do you get a Secret clearance? Or is it a secret.
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

You get a secret clearance by having someone sponsor you for a secret clearance. Kind of circular logic, I guess, since most companies don't want to waste time with someone who doesn't have a clearance if they need someone with one.

Truth be told, at this point, we could even take someone with an interim, which normally can be done in 24-48 hours as long as you're pretty clean (no arrests, no bankruptcies, no huge credit problems... basically nothing other than parking/speeding tickets).

We have a team of 5 guys out there right now, and have had to hire for this position several times over the last 2+ years. By now, I recognize a lot of the resumes we're seeing on Monster, ClearanceJobs.com, etc, and was hoping to find some new talent.

If someone here can hook me up with a successful candidate (as in, they get the job), I can promise a referral bonus.

Skidog - you sure you don't want to be back in SoCal? I guess the skiing's only a little less good than SLC.
