    Yurp Maggots/Others

    Looking for a rig to rent around yurp while there.

    Must be.

    1. Not tiny
    2. NOT TINY

    I need enough room for gear and to sleep in it. Thinking along the lines of a wagon or a car that has fold down seats something like that.

    Looking at the rental places online and I see a.....

    Citroen Xsara Wagon Diesel - Feedback?
    Also
    Peugeot 307 - Feedback?

    I don't want/need a big hefty gasolene SUV to get around, just something enough to get me over mountain passes and that will allow me to sleep in it.

    The Xsara is a little older than the 307 but given that it's a wagon and has a diesel engine it may well prove the better bet. It'll also have better ride quality than the Peugeot.

    I'd definitely go Citroen.

    well the crucial point here is that you want to sleep there
    so you in any case you need a wagon, the peugeot 307 is not enough. Said that, I have a citroen and I'm biased, but,,,,SSSSSSSSTTTT, do not tell anyone, citroen and peugeot are actually the same company

    Go with the xsara, won't drive like the diesels that you are used to....only just big enough to sleep in though....

    Truth had a pretty surprised look on his face when he drove our Opel Vectra diesel to collect us fom Les Freaux this year.I think he was loving that torque.
