    Sponsor?

I'm about to migrate to Mt. Baker from Maine for a couple weeks to shoot a 16mm film with some friends. I'm an art student and that means I=poor. I don't know much about the whole sponsorship scene, but I thought I might be able to slap a big sticker/magnet on the vanagun or something to help pay for film costs.

I know nothing about this stuff, but I figured if there were anyone to ask about making money while ski-bumming, it'd be TGR maggots. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

    "Working" a "Job" helps.

Tune/sell/rent skis. Many of us have.

well, maybe the reason it sounds so crazy is because no one ever tries.
I intend to try. I'm just looking for help from ANYONE WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS.

Peaple in the skiing industry try to get sponsored ALL THE TIME!. Literally, constantly trying. Your best bet is to first produce something good, then show it to those with the means to sponsor you, then see if they'll finance future projects.

Good luck. Try and post the vid or at least a teaser here when you finish. There are some people here who have been known to have some pull in the ski industry.
