    Four mounts?

Hello i have a pair of arg's tht i bought from a friend. He has them on the third mount with a pair of px12's (not my first choice for these skis but i got them for cheap) . I wanna get a pair lf dukes and make them my tour ski. Ive always been told three is the limit. But i heard these are great tour skis. Would u mount them 4 times?

    I'd mount them 6 times.

Do the holes overlap or is there enough room? Did you check yet?
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

It's all about the spacing. About 1 cm clearence all around from the other holes and you'll be OK. More is better. Less- you're taking chances in my opinion.
I've got a pair of Seths with 4 mounts. I've used the 4th mount for 3 seasons with no problems. I did, however, seal the closest open holes with JB weld- kind of red neck and not sure an engineer would approve, but it gave me peace of mind at the time.

Just don't leave them in the sun -- kinda like carbon fiber road bikes, they might 'splode!!

I've broken and seen others break skis right where previous holes were. Just an FYI. If you get them for a deal and don't go too far from civilization or too exposed then fire away.
