Me: "hey, my xxxx pole broke."
Leki: "okay, send it to xxxxx and write # xxxxxx on the outside of the package. It's a reference number."
One week after I send my one busted pole in, they send me a brand new pair because the one that I sent in was too old for them to have a single pole in stock. No questions asked. Had they asked, they would have found out that it was my boneheadedness which led to it busting AND it was 2 years post warranty.

Hmm... I wonder if that policy would work on mine. They're quite badly abused from various falls and don't quite tele-scope smoothly anymore. Fortunatley found some very reasonabley priced ones (hiking, I think) at a garage in Capel Curig... Wales rules!
