I was thinking of exchanging my stock velcro straps on my Salomon X Wave 10's with a pair of Booster Straps. Has anyone used these? Do they make much of a difference? Any info. would be great.

Whoa, look what the Search function turned up.
I use them on both alpine and tele boots-
significant improvement for such small $$.
Ok thanks. I'm new to the site and didn't think to look there first.
Yeah search function but DEFINITELY get them. Noticable improvement.
S'alright - that's why I did the search for ya.Originally Posted by jimmy page
Zep boy - Booster straps rock. Minimal investment, maximum gain... can you say 5th buckle? (Unless you have a sintessi, and in that case a 6th buckle!).
You should be able to get a booster strap at any good specialty shop, and they can install them very quickly if you can't.
At our shop just about everyone has a set. If you are a little bigger boned they are an even better investment.
He who can smile when things go wrong, has found someone else to blame it on!
I have solly boots and did something kinda interesting. I use the original velcro for my liner strap, then the booster goes on the outside. Max support, I love it. See Pics (sorry so big).
