I informed him today on our first gondola ride up. I'm sure he'll check-in in a bit.

Hey guys and gals. Thanks for the kind words, and votes for going to the camp. You are right that it is something, that I would never have thought of for myself. But now you've got me wondering!! It sounds like a lot of fun. I don't know if I have enough skill to even qualify for the camp. Maybe I ought to check with Gordy?

Thanks again for the votes of appreciation. I recieved more kind words in this thread, than in 24 years as a Dentist.
I want a 6" travel 20lb MTB. I found the 20lb MTB, but only good for riders under 87 pounds.

Based on my discussions with Gordy about the skiers he thinks will benefit most from his camps, I think you're an ideal candidate. You've got my vote...

GT, don't know yah man, but if you end up going, it'll be a blast! Only 7 or so of us, wow!

I think the small group thing is really gonna work to our benefit in terms of focus flexibility and moving around the mountain(s), etc.

Well Gordy says I should be OK.

So it's up to Shin-to-Win. If he would like to give me his place in the camp, I'd love to make the most of it. And yes, I'd have to still have atleast one camera with me.

What does "Shin-to-win" mean? Is his name a typo?

    Just wondering.

The technique of skiing through a gate not around it in slalom is called shinning (or used to be). When breakaway gate first came, "shin to win" was an expression the tuffs used.

Leave the camera in my pack and i will go shoot you in action GT.

I'm super stoked to see this type of goodness coming from the board...way to go Shin. Such a cool idea to even consider! That type of hospitality will for sure earn you some karma points and an open door at our home.

Good luck with the surgery and good luck at camp GT!
There's a world out there full of color, dreams, and imagination. What are you waiting for?
