Well, I had a crazy "vacation" over the Turkey Day weekend. I ended up driving 1800 miles, from CO, up into Idaho and back.
As always, Altachic and Sandytheskier were nice enough to let me stay with them in SLC for a few nights, thanks girls.
Skied Saturday with MD9, Crinkle, Altachic, Freshies247, Crossover, Altard, CS and many others. Also met APD, Grizzle6 and Telephil.....and others whom I can't remember right now.
I was super hungover on Sat, after doing too many shots at "legs wides" party. P-tex and a few others kept serving them up, and I kept drinking them, only to find myself hugging the porcelain god at Altachics later that evening.
Saturday was sweet, was really a good time. Crossover showed us "the line"and I skied with numerous maggots all day. Finished the last 2 hours with Freshies 247 until last chair, and we were getting faceshots on the last run.....it didn't suck, and I was worked.
I knew that Sunday was going to be EPIC, but I also knew I'd be driving from UT all the way back to CO in the snow, and I didn't want to do that considering I'd be working Monday, and I couldn't blow off the job, cuz I did that the last time I was out this year, (Brighton opener) and almost got shit canned.It turned out to be the responsible decision, but it's not easy looking at GT's photos of Sunday.At least it's early in the season.
I've prolly met a few hundred maggots this past year, and I've got to tell you, being a maggot rules. No where else could I find so many people as passionate about the sport of skiing, and at the same time being so cool. You guys rule!
