Hey...for those coming to the Utah mini

The mini is coming up here soon, 3 weeks away or so.

Buzz and I wanted to just post one last thread with some specifics!

We have been graced with lots o' good shwagg this year to give away to all you fools. We'll be meeting at Goldminers Daughter, Friday the 17th after we're all done skiing-I think most of us will be at Alta and the Bird. I'm sure there will be multiple folks in there earlier drinking beers and hanging out.

Friday night-Boarderline's casa for some drinking and apres ski nonsense.
We'll try to get his address on here if that's ok with him. Whenever you're done at GMD, come on down to his house, bring some drinks and food if you can, that would be much appreciated.

Sat-Sun we'll be skiing, well, there will be a lot of folks at different places, we'll have to nail that down here soon. Go get the goods wherever they are that day!!

If you all need anything else, pm me or buzz, we'll help ya out.

See you all soon, really soon.

Stoked, only 9 days 'till I'm out there. Friends will be heading to Utah and the Mini after 3 days at Grand Targhee, and I'm flying home on the same plane as Snowsprite. This thing is gonna be unsane. Now we just need Red Baron to channel about 10 feet of snow over Utah for the Mini and the days before it.

I unfortunately will not be there and I even live here. I'm taking one for the team and going to D.C. for work related things. I'll be back saturday though, so hopefully the snow comes when I leave and leaves when I return to reveal deep bluebird days.

Email me at boarderline at gmail dot com for my home address. Like Buzz said, bring your "A" game for drinking and jibbing. Mucho drunken maggot debauchery and jib steeze will ensue. The BBQ will be hot and the fire pit lit.

i understand your excitement but with that amount of snow you'll be seeing a lot of the inside of your hotel room. i will gratiously accept a moderate 10" of fluff per day. no long interlodge needed. just some good ole fashioned sick pow days.

I'm not staying at Alta, so bring on more than 10'' a day, although I sure as hell won't complain about that. 10 feet in a week at Alta is about 6 feet everywhere else, so it would be all good, eh? Whatever, stoked either way, as long as it [.....] lots.

10" of light snow a day creates great pow skiing. it will be bottomless and refillable. 16" a day can cause a lot of problems for touring. especially if it is heavy. it would be a bummer to get stuck in pc for an entire week and not experience some lcc/bcc action. the snow will come as it will. just enjoy it.

True, the trip will be enjoyed immensly powder or not, but some great dumps throughout the week would be the proverbial cherry on top. Red Baron is conspicuously absent from issuing at least some kind of omen about that week from his crystal weather ball. Even though it's like 10 days out, there must be some idea of what's brewing out in the Pacific.

I think APD was alluding to wanting to get 16" a day.

2 weeks from today right now, I should be pulling into the aiport in Nashville to check my bags and then to proceed in getting hammered for my circuitous flight to SLC. Hopefully some deep days will ensue.
I should probably change my username to IReallyDon'tTeleMuchAnymoreDave.
