hey buster, I'd totally recommend Big White right now for any snow starved PNWers. I was up for their opening last weekend and it rocked. Too bad I forgot to snag the work digicam for it or I would have thrown up some nice pics. Doesn't rate with Alta's weekend (what could?) but they are looking as solid as I've ever seen it for this time of year.

Base is solid at 4' and had about 6" of fresh on Friday night. The front side is open (Bullet, Black Forest, Ridge Rocket chairs). I expect the T-bar to be open by the weekend and it looked real real tasty up there. Fresh is in the long range forecast for Fri Sat Sun but I tend to wait til closer to the weekend before I trust that. I cruised around everywhere on my good skis all weekend with no real rock worries. Easter chutes were unreal coverage and knee deep. The cliff bowl and the new chair in there looks excellent but could be a couple more weeks for it to open. They opened up the top of Bullet access point and we sweet talked a gullible blue jacket patroller into letting us climb pretty high in for an unbelieveable Cliff run before the red jackets clamped down and roped off the higher access path. Come on up mate, if I head out I'd show you where to find the goods if they get any more snow at all going in to the weekend. Cheers, pulver.
