Ski Games?

Just wondering if there are any decent ski games for PS2 or XBOX.... Even PC. I haven't really heard of anything but I think a good ski game would be tons of fun

Ummmm that doesn't really exist...

I've tried collecting all the skiing games above Colecovision...here what I can tell you.

Moseley is the only one that comes close but its more like SSX on skis.

There are some Japanese PS2/PSone/Saturn games that involve skiing but they are pretty shit....I mean really shit.

I have Alpine Racer 3 for JAp PS2 but its more like the arcade game...just DH courses like a car game....its still fun though.

If you want a slalom/gs game you can't go wrong with Tommy Moe on SNES AKA Val Disere skiing-snowboarding for Jaguar, or the classic Slalom for NES.

Big Mountain Skiing/Snowboarding for US N64 is crap too.

Your best bet is to forget looking for skiing games and buy a snowboarding game. I myself prefer Amped2 for Xbox as it's mad steezy. SSX is okay but it's way too fake for me. Not that Amped2 is completely believe-able with it's 300 foot cliff drops, but it's more realistic than SSX some of which takes place inside a pinball machine.

Seconded, it beats any skiing game I've played hands down. Would be perfect if they made a game exactly like it, except with skis.

My roommate picked up Burnout 3: Takedown the other week. Friggin fun as hell!!! I usually don't like car games but the objective in this one is to hit other cars off the road or ram them into oncoming busses or taxis or subway cars at 200 mph. You earn money by causing massive crashes in another mode. They put you 1/4 mile from a huge, busy intersection and just light one and cause as much mayhem as possible. The speed effects are awesome and since you can play your own music in Xbox games you don't have to listen to bullshit emo crap.

edit: I forgot about the part where you can slow down time when you crash hard and try to cause more mayhem and try to take out other drivers. It's fun to yell out the traditional Frank the Tank slo-mo style "NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!"

ssx3 isn't as rediculous as ssx and the idea of it all being one mountain is sweet...i love it...mainly because theres this one spot youre not supposed to ski on that actauall looks wicked steep dn gets me tres stoked

burnout 2 was great..its an addicting rush
burnout 3 is supposed to be better...fyi 1st person view gives you better reaction time and once you get used to it you play better with it...oh yea and its fuckgin superawesomeintesnse
