    Arrow Another UT T-Day TR

Utah was fun! I had to extend my trip a few extra days due to the current conditions in LCC. My 3-4 day trip turned out being 8 days. We went for a long tour the first day I was there. Caught an early tram at Snowbird, skied Powder Paradise to the bottom of MB. Went OB. Skinned Pagan. Skied one lap there which was about 6 inches of recrystalized/surface hoar. It was good! Skinned back up Pagan. Decided to make it a long day and go across Mary Ellen to the Twins and come out White Pine. It was a gorgeous trip. I like sentence fragments. Got some really good turns off the west side of Sinners Pass. Made it back to the car pretty beat at 4:00.

We went down to the Swell for a few days to check out the canyons. The weather wasn't ideal and the slot canyons had too much water/ice to hike in them, but we hiked the rims of a couple. Wednesday pm we hiked up to the Blackbox Overlook to watch the sunset. We thought we were going to be disappoined, but we weren't. The hike out in the dark under an almost full moon was pretty sweet too!

And, as you know, T-day weekend was epic! I didn't take any pictures. Too busy skiing waist/chest deep at the Bird!!! I heart UT, but I heart JH more...even if we don't have any snow

those pics are publishable. sick sick sick. I love the first one, it drips with anticipation. I love the feeling of approaching rad terrain...wondering where the lines and snow will be.

    great stuff.

Those pics really capture the quiet beauty of the mountain and the artistic balance of skier and nature. Thanks for sharing!

Those pics are outstanding! Another great report from UT,
I was amazed at how light and fluffy the powdery snow was and at how the challenge never ended.

Yeh, my bro should be breaking into the realm of professional photography soon. He's more of a scenic/fire photog than a ski photog. He didnt give me any of the really good pics he took; he probably figured I'd post them on the internet
