Can't beat the price of winter camping. Just make sure to bundle up and eat some lard before you go to sleep.
The Hostel is a great deal. Private rooms availible. The Avalanche a block aware for breakfast.
The Triangle is good and cheapish. Beware of how cheap you go. I got stranded in Silverton two years ago with the passes closed and we found a dive that was cheap but oh so manky and cold, damn cold. I slept in my sleeping back on top of the bed cause I just couldn't bring myself to get under those manky sheets.
If the Triangle had a hot tub, it'd be the bomb....

Second vote for the Hostel, though I wouldn't recommend sleeping near or around the two gasbags, Cletus and Cornhole.Originally Posted by Foggy_Goggles

Silverton's website lists about all the places there are to stay in Silverton which isn't much. http://www.silvertonmountain.com/lodging.php
I'm staying in one of the B&Bs. It was the only place that would take dogs and keep the girlfriend happy.
The Alpine House worked for us...I see they raised their rates.
Vote for the Bent Elbow if your not wanting to go the budget route.
Nice rooms, good people. The owner Pete, is a good person to meet and befriend in Silverton, and a great guy. I think the rooms are around $50 or so in the winter and nice.

Triangle is decent too, kitchen in the rooms, or most I think, call ahead, the room besides the lobby sucks, speaking from experience.
Skiing, where my mind is even if my body isn't.
Just got a room for Saturday night at the Prospector, $25.00. Triangle is booked up for the weekend.
