So who hasn't been on the snow yet?

We're all well aware that the Utards and the Kirkweed/Mammy crew have been going off, and that the CO maggs have been both out in the BC and inbounds, and that Iceman din't go to UT and didn't ski any blower and that Solitude sucks (so don't go there).

But who out there (like me) hasn't been out on the snow yet? (Actually I have been on the snow, but I just haven't made any turns yet.)

I don't exactly live in a skiing mecca, but I am soooooo looking forward to making some turns somewhere on Sat.
I should probably change my username to IReallyDon'tTeleMuchAnymoreDave.

That'd be me. Thousands of miles from snow right now, in more ways than one.

I've gotten one day on a manmade ribbon of death at Gore, so that doesn't really count, although it did feel so nice to be out sliding on snow again. I'm mired in school work with 10 days left before my flight to Ootah and hopefully deep powder salvation. I get the shakes from just thinking that my ski trip is only like 11 days away. Soon my time will come....

Not yet. But anxiously awaiting the opportunity. Even if it will be on a 200' hill with almost all manmade ice death. It will still be skiing.

Was supposed to have gone last Sunday, but missed my connection. It's been snowing on Hood, so perhaps this weekend?

    It was 77 degrees yesterday.

I have had a lot of ski dreams lately- do those count?

Count me in. Although for about two minutes yesterday I think I saw something vaguely resembling frozen precipitation. Hopefully that's a good sign.

Hopefully I'll see some snow in a few days. Word is there's gonna be a storm hitting French Canadia.

    Moi.....

Going to pickup my boots and pants from a friend who brought them down for me today, and may try Snowbowl on Thursday. Living in the desert is killing my ski season.

I'll be back in Michigan in the second half of December, so hopefully I'll get a few 500' runs in there. Then I get to head out to Aspen for a week. Can't wait.

ME! BUUUUUUUT....i plan to make up for it.

Graduating in December and I'm moving out to Whitefish for the remainder of the season around New Year's. So hopefully I'll be able to ski 5 days a week after I get out there.

I confess. Bound by bevies of blue eyes, I am. But I ache, my pant strain toward snow. Low lying clouds wrap the foothills. It can't be long.

me too. only 1 day of death ribbon. It is getting really depressing up here in VT when there is no snow on the ground on Nov 30...

but there is finally some in the forecast for the next couple days. Nothing too significant though.

    Skiing

Living in Southwest Idaho is killing me right now. Two hours to Sun Valley to ski on two runs for a cost $48. That doesn't really sound worth it to me. Decemeber 8th I am going to Grand Targhee and Jackson for 5 days
