Hey, y'all. I've been trying to track down snowfall statistics based on CALENDAR YEARS.
As you know, most snowfall statistics are represented seasonally. I.e., "the winter of '03-'04" or "04-05". However, I've been trying to track down annual calendar year statistics. That is, January - December. I've searched around on the 'net some, but so far no luck. I did find a page in the NWS site that *might* have helped, but the statistics were displayed without any titles, so it was indecipherable. Any other ideas?
The reason I am looking is because I suspect calendar year '04 will be the among the worst for snowfall in the Northeastern US. (Of course, that means 2005 will be epic )
Unfortunately snowfall stats aren't tabulated that way so you won't find it. It takes some time but each NWS office has on their website the archives for that station by month. If you sit there and add it up you'll have your "calendar year" total.
