Cant beat good jazz albums, you can listen to them over and over again, pick up some Miles from 65-69, and nothing like a little sarah vaughn when you are cruising at 3 am.
If you want relaxing floyd, go with "wish you were here" It has all of "shine on you crazy diamond", and you just cant beat that.Originally Posted by dipstik
Josh Ritter, Bob Segar for sure, best travelling tunes ever, ya gotta have some Springsteen, damn near everything except "Darkness on the Edge of Town" that album is too depressing, IMHO. John Mellancamp makes for good travelling tunes as well. Oh yeah, ya gots to have the Grateful Dead along for the ride.

Of course I'll have Bruce- can't drive through Jersey without him. I think Darkness is a great album, if you REALLY want to get depressed, play Nebraska.Originally Posted by glademaster
