Same liner for alpine and tele??

Searched for some info on this but didn't find what I wanted. I'm looking at getting myself a tele set-up again after a few years away from the free heels. Is there any reason I couldn't pull the intuitions from my Scarpa Typhoons and plug them into whatever tele shell I find? Will there be more wear/damage due to the toe flexion or should I be fine? Do tele boots have different liners than alpine/at, or are they pretty much the same?? Thanks mags, I feel like I should have been able to look this up but just couldn't find a satisfactory answer...

The Intuitions may not flex along the bellows like you want them to.

I swapped liners back and forth between T2 and F3. Oh, wait a minute, the F3's have bellows. Anyway, the T2 liners look the same as my other AT liners to my eye. Sorta. I say try 'em and let us know if they work. Hope that helps ya. Heh

I use the Intuitions and cork footbeds from my T-1s in my Tornado Pros. No problems at all.

That makes sense as there would be less movement in the Tornados than the T-1's, but would it work the other way around? Were the tornado liners the same style/build as the T1's is there something tele-specific about them that the tornados don't have?

    you will be fine.
its never as good as when you mold them to the exact boot, however.
    Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers

Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason

Tornados' had a meh liner with a hard plastic tongue to add stiffness i guess. The Intuitions [ultralon] in the T1's feel fine. I [as one of those
"paramark" style skiers prefer a comfortable fit] Have never had a problem in the AT boots.
The one item is less weight with the Intuitions. The thing I like about the Intuition liner is I have taped the heel release down on my T1s' as they tour so comfy I was forgetting to lock them again.

In the mid 90s I used my Technica race-liners in my new plastic scarpa tele-shells. Never looked back. Liners are completely interchangeable between alpine and tele. Shell and foot-fit and personal preference is, as usual, whats important. Lots of guys using conformable customliners in their teleshells.
