    PSA: shop bash time

dont have a lot to do today so i swung by a shop ive never had the chance to check out. Moxie's Powder House. I walked in on the dude's convo with his wife about how he wanted some blue bindings to match some skis they had. i figured ok, good business idea. then as i look at the skis he tells me which ones are probably too expensive for me. so i start bs-ing with him about skis, and he gives me the scoop on K2: theyre bad skis cause nobody wins races on em and theyre made in china now. also, the whole "jumping off cliffs" thing isnt going to last and k2 is going to suffer later on (because all the cliff jumper guys are getting old). i was done listening to him after he told me the cut outs in the tip of a pair of supersports would keep the tip on the snow better because air could flow through when you go really fast. told him id be back when i was ready to buy. nahh, i dont want to buy skis that could otherwise go to a dentist.

Is that place in Spokane. Sounds like a typical Spokompton jackass I think the only decent ski shop in the area is Ski Shack in Hayden, Idaho

What? You sure you talked to someone on the sales staff? I would never say that to a customer. Seen plenty of grungy guys pull out the Platinum card to judge a book by it's cover. Plus, it's usally thr yuppie scumfucks in expensive clothes that are the cheapskates.
