You know what? Skiing facking rules!

Get to the new lift at Alta this morning with CS to find MD9, Crinkle, and GT40. That line for Collins was big...So we decided to ski Wildcat for the morning. Mmmmmm...Mmmmm, i love creamy pow.

For the first time my new liners didn't hurt, my knee didn't bother me one bit and i was feeling dialed...FINALLY. I was in search for something to drop, if they open more stuff up tomorrow, it will be mine.

Good skiing with powho, phUnk, CS, GT40, Crinkle and, crap there was one other dude..freshies, i think?

Did see Xover, but he refuses to ski the Ho, bummer.

Glad you dudes made it into town, see you all there tomorrow.

Yeah, he's a pussy in that sense

I woulda loved to have been there, but my grandmother's 90th birthday must take precedence. Next week fur sure, snow permitting.

Seeing altachic back on skis was A-OK. http://tetongravity.com/ubb/icons/icon14.gif

Good to be back skiing Alta with the usual suspects (plus the ringers from CA and CO.)

Yeah, it was good today. We were there early, so we got a run off the new Collins lift. Then a bunch of Wildcats, then a bunch of Supremes. Good stuff. Hopefully it'll keep coming.

I'm so glad I got a heads up on how crowded Collins was going to be this morning. I stayed bird-side all day and it was reeeaaaaaallly fun.
AC, I hear you. My knee is feeling better all the time, I'm skiing w/o the brace, my legs are starting to feel a little stronger, and the conditions were really good today.
Once again, I lucked out on an MB opener. It was funny. I stepped off LC and saw two trollers zip by. They skied right up to the MB rope and without a word started taking it down. I slipped in as soon as the first troller moved aside enough to let me by, thanked him for making my day, and proceeded to have my way with the mountain.

Oh...and nice seeing you Telephil and UTdave. It's shaping up to be a good year, eh?

    No.
I heard it wasn't too bad (a-tram-and-a-half), but I didn't want to descend from above to find out for myself.

It was so on today! Had fun skiing with you clowns as well. Skied some fun snow, did some stupid things but mostly landed on my feet. Good times. See ya tomarrow.

Huh, did you see me tailin those trollers (black jacket/tan pants)? It took us about 2 1/2 hours to make it from my bros house to Hidden Peak, so we decided to stop in the shack and see what the status was on the crowds. One of the head patrollers decided since I was in town and my bro had the day off he'd be nice and let em open Mineral so we could get first tracks! So, we hung out for a few minutes and then followed the trollers to the rope and got 3 laps of fresh wind buffed goodness before the crowds started showing up...

It was a pretty sweet day for the first lift served of the season!

Good stuff happening at the bird but the tram was bad... red lighted, and around the bldg. But we got an early ride up and made some very fun turns off little cloud until everybody else figured out that it didn't have much of a line. Had to take a mid day break at the tram club for some rumpy and chocolate while the crowds thinned. Then made it back up for a few more! Good to see Xover & Utarded for a beer at GMD. Stickin' around until Sun for much more forecasted..... um... nothing but blue sky forecast (antijinx).
    I think I'm going mad.

I don't recall running into anyone besides Endless. Who are you? I ended up skiing with some guy I met on the lift and a couple of his friends. It was a good day but the place was a total zoo. They need to get more lifts open with how many people were there. This is going to be a long (think lines) season if they don't get Gad II going. I think I should be in for Sunday if nothing comes up.

Heh. That's funny. I did. I'm the guy your brother almost ran into at the bottom of the first pitch. You might remember we both ditched it at the same time so we wouldn't run into each other.

P.S. UTdave, I'll tell you later.
