    Fall in Hatteras

Just a couple images from yesterday. Hard for me to stand on the beach and take pics when A frames are peeling Here's about 5 minutes worth.Saw this and ran to get changed .Oh yea almost forgot. Water was 68 couple guys were still in baggies and a long/sleeve top.

I think the guy in the shorebreak is looking for an invite from the guys casting from their back deck

Nice, I've definitely surfed that spot before...man those houses are now really close to the water...too close for comfort! (haven't been in 5 years now)

Wow. Totally jealous. Been in the 5/4 here for a couple weeks now.

68? We used to have to wait till mid August for the water to hit 68 in New England. That is shorts and no shirt temp.

That was the case on the northern outer banks for most of the summer also with the upwelling and water temps in the upper 50's-lo 60-s till about august. Air was in the 50's yesterday and there was a bit of a wait on sets so a little bit of rubber was the call

Are those houses one storm away from being gone?
