Does Hoji use stock Dynafit FT12's?

So I just saw Matchstick's latest flick "The Way I See It," and during Hoji's segment it's very obvious that he is skiing on dynafits.

The lines he skis are insane. Huge cliff hucks, nasty pillow lines, and massive slayage. I know he used to rock all metal 916s, and the lines he's skiing definitely warrant that type of binding. However, he skis them all on dynafits, and never once explodes or ejects.

Anyone know if he's on stock ft12s? Or is he on some pre-production uber burly dynafit binding? Or does he just lock out the toe? Anyone know or have an idea? If nothing else, he definitely de-bunks the "dynafits aren't bomber" myth.

916's for all non-touring, and stock dynafits on his touring skis.

sick lines, but he is a little guy at under 5'10 and maybe #155 pounds.

Hoji talks about skiing Dynafits in "The Way I See It"

Makes me even more stoked on the pair of FT12´s and Titans I picked up for cheap during summer...

I was convinced until the end of the Q&A when he said that the biggest air was 30 feet without any spins and that he has to ski them locked out all the time, on top of which he only weighs probably 150lbs. Now, I am not saying I am unconvinced, I am just skeptical.

Those look VERY interesting. I've heard they have them at escape route in whistler, going to try to give them a fondle when I'm in there next.

Mntlion, do you know if he uses stock titans? I thought there was something i read here about him tinkering and building a frankenboot with dynafit lowers and maybe full tilt uppers.

if full tilt could make a boot with a walk mode and swappable vibram din/dyna soles, i would cry in joy.

That's exactly what I was looking for. Looks like he just locks out the toes. Don't know enough about the mechanics of dynafits, but that seems to be the logical explanation for them staying on despite some major shredding
