I am trying to decide on what skis to buy, I just sold my Stomrider DP, liked them but did not love them. I curently ride my Axiom as my daily Snowbird ski and I love how they ski, I got the ones with the wood core great ski. I want to buy some spatulas but don't know if this is just a crazy combo, I have used the search function and they sound great. My fear is the Axiom's dying they seem to by holding up welll but you never know. If this happend I would be left with Spatulas and Mad trix. Or should I do the sensabile thing and buy a pair of fat twins, I can probably get a deal on a pair of Surface Cushions, they are 184 and 95 underfoot. I cant decide and need some help, or opinions if someone has a similar combo and it works let me know. Thanks, and if any one has used the surface skis let me know or you can check them out at.

If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

they sound like good skis and similar in construction to the bros. what type of deal are you able to get on these? splat is selling a few of the blems and still has a soft left. i think i read that they're $350 + $20 s&h. if it were me and it was down to these two skis, i'd want to support the guys here.
if you wait till splat ships mine you can take them out for a spin. they are the stiffest version though.
