It did not suck out there today. Fast, moderate density snow on West aspects up above 9k. Isolated locations of graupel pooling made route finding while skinning fun.

Ran into Maynard K. and company today at the bottom of this lap. He was vocally displeased about the long-turning.

Snow was fast, bouncy, dense, mostly graupel. South aspects got cooked in the pm. Control work on Baldy looked to have popped out lots of little slabs this morning but the new snow had settled down after a some time in the sun.

Man if you were up high in the backcountry tonight you had quite a view. Best graupel I ever skied.

    That's beautiful!

those long turners were slow on the skinner yesterday, look idiots wearing their tanner hall esque clothing, and made big ugly turns down cardiac bowl, big whoop u can go fast on hero snow....i just dont get it. you can ski how u want where u want.... but seriously go somewhere else besides noodle-land to do your photo shooting extreme skiing. dont get me wrong i love skiing fast, but just go somewhere else to do that please. your huge turns took up so much room in a crowded area...... sorry about my strong opinion

Why are you bothered by how people dress?

Big world, lots of mountains. Enough with the Wasangeles Turn Radius cop thing.

I think I'm going on a new campaign after reading this. Ski noodle terrain first. I'll make a point to go to all of the popular little turn areas and after I throw a skin track across the entire pow field I'll make three huge turns down it. All while wearing something that makes me look like an idiot, a la tanneresque. And the kicker is I'll skin fast to do it.

since you're so fast on the skin track in your tight fitting euro gear maybe you could just go a little bit further out to make your narrow powder 8s.

Well, you already look like an idiot, so you've already got that going for you.

We should get a couple banners...

    "Ski Noodle Terrain First"

    "Wasangeles Turn Radius cops SUCK!"

You're only supposed to look at it when you go up Little Browood Canyon, it's not intended for the BCC noodle skiers.

Which is very strange because the Browoods could care less.

At least he only LOOKS like an idiot. Trackhead, you ARE an IDIOT.

If the Wastach was really Wasangles and like it's namesake, Los Angeles, the new-school, young big-turners would be regularly getting the shit kicked out of them by the old-school noodle turners for skiing sideways and out of the fall line and taking up too much room on crowded beach, oops i mean slope .

Sooo, I caught a bit of the dogma yesterday, but I'm still not clear how the 2/3 lapping with the cross-slope traverse 400' from the top is consistant with the aim to stay fall-line or to make the most of the crowded beach. Care to enlighten me?

BMFer due to full body armor and the noodler's osteoporosis. On second thought, maybe the noodler, due to the BMFer's restrictive clothing.

In the end, they are both dorky backcountry skiers; I doubt either know how to fight in the first place . I totally take that back if you run into the Youngmaster out in Wasangelas. I hear he most definitely knows how to whoop ass.

This shit kills me. It is public land. If you are recreating under your own power, on shit you paid for, turn however you fucking please.

Whippet duel. To the death. Because nobody but Trackhead has health insurance and who wants to deal with those bills, right?
