Wilder, awesome photos -- and a killer high profile tumble. Thanks for both. Great partners, great day. Good way to get to know someone.

That avvy crown and debris in Corner Pocket was sobering. Had it as an "unlikely" possibility in my mind as the day began. Glad we kept our exposure to X Y and Z purely theoretical, as well. Had a lot of fun on pretty safe terrain.

Puke happens. Looks like Bear, as if he hasn't been humiliated enough this season on the internetz. If he had eaten one of my breakfast burritos all this woulda been avoided. But I spose he can blame Wildman and me for putting in such a brutal track.

North Chutes skied well- wind hammered up top, fluffy in the middle and a touch heavy down low.
90's skied nice, although getting tracked out in the lower sections.
    How was today?

Nice. KC has a nose for finding the best snow at Bert. You guys must have found about the only pocket of super soft snow - everybody else I talked to that was out yesterday along I-70 said the snow was slabby and very slow, and skied like much less than what was on the ground.

I was up yesterday morning around 6am, met one of the biggest asshole up there. "I don't need any avy gear. It's a ski at your own risk and if it's my time to die, it's my time. And if it's my friends, it's god's time to take us." And that's all i have to say about that douche.
But I skied floral and west side, which was nice in spots, snow was really slow, and damn it was cold! I'm hoping tomorrow will be a good day....

^^Wow. You should post a description so we know who to avoid.

I was the asshole snowboarder who forgot his boots on friday. ended up kicking it old school and riding and touring in my Sorels. That was fun...

Almost as good as the guy who asked me how much was "open" today at the "ski area"

I told him 40 was groomed by CDOT.
