KC TR: Why neither the Patriots nor Frontier Suck

I generally stay away from work TRs because my job is...well...boring. I make no trips to Oz or Cham, there are no tales of the “final solution”, and I certainly have never met a chick in the airport bar who loves my internet identity. This trip was remarkable mainly for the fact that no work was actually involved. I scammed my largest vendor into taking me the MNF game at Arrowhead and my employer into paying for the travel and hotel. Now I travel enough to know that there in no such thing as a good flight. Either everything goes as planned and it still sucks or something gets F-ed up and it sucks even more. Frontier 820 was different. At check, in some fruity PR guy gives me a voucher for a free ticket to Winter Park, sweet! Like any dirtbag-to-the-core I tried to circle around the ticketing area for another voucher, denied. Despite the coffee failing to yet kick in, I noticed something different about the plane as I boarded. It was decorated like a trailer park birthday party with ribbons and balloon up and down the aisles. The pilot was retiring, this his last flight. Then who walks onto the plane but the CEO of Frontier. What was he handing out? More Wanker Pancake lift tickets. Could this get any better? Yes. After a fair amount of pre-game beer and a steak dinner, I settled into my seat on the 50. This was my first MNF game and only my second time seeing the Tom Brady Patriots. Seeing the game in person really shows how calm and in control of the game he is. The Pats offence never panics. Brandy makes it look more like a practice than a game. The secondary scares me. Until we get healthy, we may have trouble against teams with real wideouts (Cinci?). Anyways, a great game in a good stadium. I even got a smootch from a east coat hottie for my Red Sox sweatshirt. It was a little disappointing to see “the best fans in the NFL” leave during the 4th quarter of a one touchdown game but the 2X SuperBowl Champs will do that to ya. I finished the trip of by sleeping in, eating a fat breakfast, and about 2hrs of work yesterday.
