    Latest Collins news ...

.. just saw one of my climbing partners who works for Lifts and he said they load tested today and everything passed. He also said they built all the ramps too. So, they are very close.

Will be nice to have that sum-a-biaaaaatch open for the snow we get or don't get this weekend.

pic of day confirms it and this morning's (11/24) snow report says "open for thanksgiving". YA FRICKIN HOO!!!

Xover man, I love reading your posts. Your giddiness is infectious... I bet you were the kid that woke his parents up at 3 AM on Christmas morning.

Xover doesn't sleep, ever. He recharges somehow but I'm sure he doesn't sleep.

Perfect, so whenever a magion hears that answer this year we can all visualize KQ chasing you around her bedroom with a toy, MORON!

    Pegging (verb)
To have anal sex with a male by using a dildo.
    i.e.
Sometimes Jack would let Jill peg him with her strap-on.

The only info I can report is from 1st-person observation.

They did the load test yesterday as you reported - they took quite a few weights off in the dark last night and ran it for a length of time while I was roaming the restaurant.

Looks like it's just a matter of cleaning up the construction supplies and putting in the mazes.

    Trouble at the Bird?

I didn't want to start a new thread about this, in case my friends are completely off base. Apparently a chair fell off of Wilbur yesterday - while it was running. Luckily no one was one said chair. Now the Bird has closed Wilbur, some other chair, and GAD II for the season because of this? Anybody know if this is true?

I hope not. Gad II is some of the best storm skiing terrain at the Bird. It does seem like they've had some trouble with it in the past though. My freshman year they didn't open it until around Christmas because of mechanical problems. I hope your friends are full of shit on Gad II.

    that can't be true...no gad2? i hope it's a rumor.

edit: I remember hearing someone on the tram today talking about a chair falling off, just kind of assumed it was the new lift at Alta, not good old wilber.

I just drove down from Alta and noticed that there are no chairs on Wilbere or Peruvian. Can't be a good sign.

Not trying to hijack but the weather up at Alta sucked. Red Baron better come through..............

Oh, and I'm standing by my 10"-15" forecast, for a total amount by Friday at noon. Then more on Saturday & Sunday night, but that's the storm that is proving to be very troublesome to forecast...

Now you're getting me all worked up. That Red Baron doesn’t come through this time, I'm sending over some heavy-hitters to get Medieval on his ass. I'm going to pull a full-on Jimmy Supa-Fly Snooka from the top rope. The Indiana Pacers got nothin' on me, RB is gonna wish he had thrown a beer in Detroit over what I got coming down.

In other words, I really hope it snows soon. (Are we cool?....Yeah, I'm cool)
