Raichle F One ski boots and shell sizes

Any of you use the F Ones?

I've had these for the past 2 boots (5 seasons)

    1) Red version (99/00?) Size 27.5, sole length 303mm

    2) Yellow version (00/01?) Size 27.5, sole length 314mm

So despite the same liner size, the sole length went up a notch. The 2nd pair I have feels a little big and I get a shit ton of shinbang. What shits me the most is that I have the buckles on the tightest notch...(mmm... sounds like tight snatch) and I still get the bang.

What's the easiest/cheapest way to fix this? I tried the bontex shims which didn't work. Right now I'm using Booster straps

WTF did Raichle do messing with the shell sizes between putting out the red and yellow versions.

Punani some one conned you , the seccond pair are not 27.5's they are 27.5 liner in a 28-28.5 shell!...I went the other way from a 27-27.5 shell to a 26-26.5 shell, 295mm! More control less shin bang......In your case get better liners, my stock ones lasted 10 days....high density thermos or foam....then booster straps......compared to say an old Nordica Grand Prix (2 rivets no hinge) they are soft...compared to a flexon they are concrete but still a nice AT boot

    Hey Tom,

Thanks for the clarification. I suspected something was wrong. Last time I'm buying boots on eBay! I'll get my current liners and stick it in my older boots (red 303mm).

    Later!
