This thread is useless without pics....
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Bump, just because. No, it isn't fixed.
In order to properly convert this thread to a polyasshat thread to more fully enrage the liberal left frequenting here...... (insert latest democratic blunder of your choice).

This thread is the pulse of the TGR forum. Like it or not that is the truth and the truth does not bode well.

NASA Announces Giant Space Magnifying Glass to Let People See Galaxies from Their Backyards

April 1, 2025 – Houston, TX – In what NASA is calling "the biggest leap for backyard astronomy since the invention of the telescope," the agency has announced an ambitious plan to place a massive magnifying glass in space, allowing everyday stargazers to see distant galaxies with the naked eye.

The project, officially named the Orbital Lens Initiative, aims to position a 100-mile-wide optical lens in Earth’s orbit, effectively turning the night sky into a high-definition cosmic display. According to NASA, once operational, the lens will allow people to see details of galaxies millions of light-years away—all from the comfort of their backyard.

“For too long, deep space exploration has been limited to scientists with billion-dollar telescopes,” said NASA Administrator Bill Nelson. “But what if we could bring the universe closer to everyone? What if you could look up and actually see the swirling arms of the Andromeda Galaxy or the glowing remnants of a supernova without any special equipment? That’s what this project is all about.”

    How It Works
The massive lens will be positioned at just the right angle to amplify light coming from distant galaxies. Using cutting-edge adaptive optics, the system will adjust in real time to weather conditions, ensuring clear views regardless of location. NASA even claims that under ideal conditions, the rings of Saturn could appear as large as the full Moon in the night sky.

    Excitement and Concerns
The announcement has already generated excitement among amateur astronomers. "If this actually works, it will be the greatest thing to ever happen to stargazing," said Dr. Kevin Matthews, an astrophysics professor at MIT. "Imagine just stepping outside and seeing the Whirlpool Galaxy in stunning detail—without a telescope!"

However, some experts have raised concerns. “A lens that size could accidentally focus too much sunlight,” warned planetary scientist Dr. Emily Carter. “If it drifts out of position, it could turn parts of Earth into a giant ant under a cosmic magnifying glass. But, you know, fingers crossed that doesn’t happen.”

Watched the entire video. I’m now Ye-lightened

What struck me was how manic he was and then the hood came off and he was seemingly normal towards the end.
