Maybe the thread getting locked didn't actually have anything to do with karpiel's pics (as nasty as they were).

Has anyone else ever seen a thread closed before? I've seen plenty of threads deleted, and I think I've seen offending posts deleted, but I don't think I've ever seen a thread left intact but closed.
