    Explosiv vs. Big Stix 86?

Looking for a friend of mine. He keeps going back and forth between the Explosiv and the 86. He's a strong skier that skis fast. He's looking to mount fritschis on them for a BC/cat skiing set up. So there will be some tree skiing involved, but mostly high speed pow turns. Which one would you reccomend?

Well, there's a 9 mm waist difference, which is quite a bit. The Explosiv's are somewhat more damp, less responsive, and heavier than the 8.6's. The turning radius of the Explosiv's is something like 45m (?), whereas the 8.6's is 28/190cm, 26/180cm, 24/170cm...
    OOOOOOOHHHH, I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!

I think the 190 sploder radius is 35m. Still large.

Seems if high speed powder turns are his major concern, then the choice is pretty straight forward.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

This has to be one of the oddest compares in a good while. 86-mm vs. 95-mm wasit...B/C pow and tree skiing...lots of sidecut vs. a lot less sidecut...I say go with the PR!

not to grab the post, but what about im85 against the fischer 8.6, much more similarly sized... from people have said im85 would give you the power of the exploder at a 8.6 size, even though thats a bad summary... comparisons between these two? is there a reason you wouldnt look at im85? mad trix mojo also sits at about 90, in between both.
